Know which stocks are expiring in the given date range.
Step 1: Create a Matrix then set it with Product:
- From main menu go to the Product Management (M > I > P)
- Press ALT + L to select a product from the list
- Go to the Matrix Name field and press CTRL + N to create a new one
- In the Matrix Modify screen, type the name of the Matrix at Matrix Name field
- Set Activate Expiry = Yes
- Press ALT + S to save
- Now set the Matrix with the desired product and then press ALT + S to save.
Step 2: Purchase Entry:
- From main menu go to the Purchase Invoice (P > T > P)
- Press ALT + L at Supplier field to select Supplier from the list
- Press ALT + L at Product field to select Product from the list
- Now in the Item Entry screen, you will get four new columns added, viz., Mfg Dt, Best, Before and Exp Dt as shown in the picture below:

Note:
The said feature is applicable for all the stock-in entries like Opening Stock, Purchase Order, Purchase Challan (Receipt Note), Purchase Invoice and Stock Journal (Only Production entry).
Product Expiry Register (W > A > R):
It shows stocks which are expiring within the given date range along with details like Product Name, Group, Sub Group, Mfg Date, Exp Dt, Closing, Closing Value etc.
