How can I implement STRICT liquor stock control in my Bar?

I want to Purchase liquor in bottles and sell them in Pegs -Bottles can be of 1000 ml / 750 ml / 375 ml / 180 ml.

You can easily implement the above mentioned feature in RanceLab Software. Please use the following steps to achieve your goal…

Step1: Changes in Global option

  1. Go to Main Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Global Option (T>A>G)
  2. Set “Use Multiunit = Yes“
  3. Save
  4. Completely log out from the RanceLab Software software.
  5. Login Again

Step2: Creating product

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master Data Management > Inventory > Product Management(M>I>P)
  2. Create a product (as RM Old Monk)
  3. Set “Stock Unit = ML”
  4. Set “Conversion Factor = 750”
  5. Set “Alternate Unit = Bottle”.
  6. Set “Can Change Conversion = Yes”
  7. Save

Step3: Create another product for menu item

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master Data Management > Inventory > Product Management(M>I>P)
  2. Create a product(as "Old Monk Rum 60 ml")
  3. Set “Stock Unit = Peg”
  4. Set “Conversion Factor = 0”
  5. Set “Alternate unit = Peg “
  6. Set “Generate child = No”
  7. Set “Print Barcode = No”
  8. Set “Generate Production from sale = Yes”
  9. Save

Step4: Adding the product in menu

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master > F&B > Menu Management (M>F>M)
  2. Alt + L (open list)
  3. Select menu name from the list
  4. Go to Product column
  5. Ctrl + Down arrow(go to the last row)
  6. Alt + L (open list)
  7. Select menu product from the list (as "Old Monk Rum 60 ml")
  8. Save

Step5: create product recipe

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master > F&B > Product Recipe(M>F>R)
  2. Alt + L(open list)
  3. Select Menu item from the list (as "Old Monk Rum 60 ml")
  4. Set “Quantity of Production = I peg”
  5. Select product in “Product Name” field (as RM Old Monk)
  6. Enter other detail and Save the recipe.

Step6: Purchasing product

  1. Go to Main Menu > Purchase Management > Transaction > Purchase Invoice(P>T>P)
  2. Alt + O (open option screen)
  3. Set “Use Multiunit = Yes”
  4. Purchase the product (“RM Old Monk”) in bottle

Step7:

  1. Sale the Menu item
  2. Go to Main Screen> Warehouse Management> Transaction> Auto Stock journal(W>T>A)
  3. Enter date range
  4. Press “Alt + G” to generate auto stock journal.

Step8: Viewing the reports

  1. Go to Main Menu > Warehouse Management > Reports > Stock Statement(W>R>S)
  2. Here you can see the stock in actual quantity wise (use “^U Actual Qty” button) and also in Alternate Qty wise (use “– U Alt Qty” button)
