What is the use of "Export Dependencies" in Export Data?

Answer:

New option added in Location Export screen, "Export Dependencies". Turning this feature on will transfer product related details to branches during purchase/sales/transfer entry. For example,

Example 1:

1. In HO, you created a product as ‘John Player Shirt F/S’
2. In your, branch there is no detail about that product
3. You created a purchase entry against that product
4. You transferred that purchase to your branch, setting the option "Export Dependencies = yes".
5. It will send the purchase detail to branch according with the product details (Masters)

Example 2:

1. In HO, you created a product as ‘John Player Shirt H/S’
2. You created a purchase entry against that product
3. You have the details of the product in your branch, so there is no need to send the product detail to branch.
4. You transferred that purchase to your branch, setting the option "Export Dependencies = no".
5. It will send only the purchase detail to branch but not the product details.

Note:

• In HO, always set "Export Dependencies = yes"
• And in Branch, always set "Export Dependencies = no"
• It will make transfer process faster.
