How to see current ledger balance while passing voucher entry?

Answer: The current ledger balance can be seen while passing voucher entry in the following manner:

1. Go to Main Menu > Financial Management > Transaction > Voucher Entry (M> T> V)
2. Press Alt + E (or use “- E List Editor“ button).
3. Press Alt + L to open list.
4. Select “Account List-Voucher”
5. Go to “column name”
6. Press Alt + L to open list.
7. Select “Balance” from the Field Name List.
8. Set Column width.
9. Save.

Now open the list of ledgers to pass entry and in the list you will find a new column added “Balance”, where you can see balance amount of any ledger.
