To share a folder or file in Windows7 please use the following steps…

• Right Click on the folder
• Click on Properties
• Go to Sharing Tab
• Click on Advanced Sharing Button

• Check in Share This Folder check box
• Click on permissions button

• Check all the Boxes under Allow

• Click on Apply and then on OK button
• Again Click on Apply and then on OK button in Advanced Sharing window
• Now click on Share button

• Select Everyone from the list
• Click on Add Button

• In permission Level give Read/Write permission to everyone.
• Click on Share button

• Click on Done Button

• Click on close button
