5 Tips to Grow a Healthy Relationship With Your Employees

When the festive season starts all the restaurants are jam-packed the whole time and there are always various offers to attract customers. No wonder there will be populous crowd who would want healthy and quality taste food, but between all this one thing is forgotten is the employees. The most laborious person between making the food and serving it to the customers. It always seems a lot easier by the way they do it, but actually, they work extra hours. So, how do you get the best from them? Nurture a healthy relationship with your employees.

Are you sure that you are treating your employees properly? Are they working on time? How much of breaks have they taken? Have you planned for over time?

1. Plan and Prepare

One might think that all the employees of the restaurant are ready for whatever relevant situation is given to them. They might be good at it but they would always need a leader to lead them. So plan the structure, how would they reach the tables, what food items to suggest, who will cover which table and how. Good planning, Great feedback.

2. Busy Schedule, Easy Roster

As far as the planning goes, the most significant thing is to makes an easy roster from the busy schedule. Festive seasons are never as easy as it is the peak season for the restaurants and the employees will have to work extra hours! Why? When you can make a roster and make shifts for each of them. After all, they are the Come Come Cats!

3. Surprise! Extra Hours

It is not new that there will be days where your artillery might have to work extra work but they would like it. Oh, they will! Make extra hours a beneficial point for them, give them incentives for every extra hour they work, identify it through Payroll Management to keep a track for the hours and if that is not it the highest extra hours gets a surprise gift. This kind of thing helps them to be motivated and help you build a a healthy relationship with your employees.

4. You can save time? 

How much ever you try it is very hard to manage a packed crowd, they all want their orders to receive fast. It takes a lot of time to take orders to report it to the kitchen for which they go back and forth, which drains the energy faster than expected. Well not anymore, now it can be managed systematically through a POS System where the order is taken from the table and directly reaches the kitchen. A lot of time is saved by this and fast table turns happens. If you save time then it saves you, don’t you think?

5. Put Out Your Best Commadre’s

Even though there will be a workforce but there will always 2-3 best ones that have always done better which you can check through a POS System. They will be the one whom customers would feel easy to interact. Provide them with the LTO’s menu (limited time offer) to help the customers choose the best one. Check the reports through your POS system of all your workforce and compensate genuinely. After all only the best armours help the commadres win the battlefield.
