Settings > Import & Export

Main Menu > Settings > Import & Export > Export Data

Through this option you can import data from FR6 into other popular data formats like Excel (.xls), Text (CSV), Text (TAB) and XML (.xml). This data can again be imported into other FR6 system.

You have to map field list of FusionRetail’s specific module to the external data and save the mapping under a specified name. After that, you may use the saved mapping to Export data in specified format as and when required.

Export From	Select the data to be exported
File Type	Select the file type from the list like Excel, Text(CSV), Text(TAB) and XML
Data Include Header Row	Set Yes to add a data header in the first row, else set No
Export Folder	Press <enter> and select the folder where the exported data file will be saved from the folder wizard
Export As	Enter the filename of the exported data file
File Name	Press <enter> and enter the File Name in the file wizard

Export Data Button

F10 Save Map	Click this button to save mapping data
E Export	Click this button to Export FR6 data into map format
Exit	Click Exit button or press Esc button to come out of the current screen
F9 Load Mapping	Click this button to load the saved mapped data into FR6.
^Loc Export	Click this button to export the data from a location to other location (used to export location data manually)

Export Location Data (Manually)

Clicking the “^Loc Export” button will lead you to a new screen where you can manage the specific detail to export data. You can manage the transfer of masters also (from one location to the other). In Master setting you can set “yes” or “no” to transfer the following subcategories. E.g. if you want to transfer Brand Master you have to set “Products = yes”.
