Whenever we open stock journal it is showing ‘Production’ as default, is it possible to set the ‘Consumption’ as default stock journal type?

Yes, you can set the ‘Consumption’ as a default stock journal type. Please use the following steps…
- Go to Main Menu > Warehouse Management > Transaction > Stock Journal(W> T> S)
- Alt + O (or use ‘-O Opt Voucher’ button)
- Set ‘Default Type = Consumption’ (or you can set any type from the list)
- Save
