Is it possible to join 2 different tables in Restaurant transaction?

Answer:

Now you can join tables together to have a common transaction. To use this feature please use the following steps…

Step 1: Creating an order in Touch POS

  1. Go to Main Menu > Restaurant > Transaction > Sale Invoice (Touch POS)(S> T> T)
  2. Open a table (e.g. table no. 601)
  3. Select some menu items
  4. Leave
  5. Open another table (e.g. table no. 602)
  6. Select some menu items
  7. Leave

Step 2: Joining tables

  1. Open any one of the above mentioned tables (e.g. table no. 602)
  2. Press ‘M’ from your keyboard (or you may use ‘M Move Table’ button)
  3. It will open an on screen keyboard with the heading ‘Enter table Name to Move’
  4. Enter another table name, with which you want to join this table (e.g. table no. 601)
  5. Enter
  6. It will ask you for your confirmation
  7. Select yes
  8. Leave
  9. Now all the items of table 602 will transfer to table 601

Note:

  • Move Table option will work both for ‘Move Table’ and ‘Join Table’
  • If the second selected table, on which you want to transfer current tables data, is blank then this option will work as ‘Move Table’
  • If the second selected table, on which you want to transfer current tables data, is not blank then this option will work as ‘Join Table’
