Requirement: We have milk supplier who are also our customers too. I have created their account as sundry creditor. I have also created customers master for them and associated with this account and allowed credit sale.
Normally these accounts have credit balances. We are able to sell them sweets in credit in scan mode but not in quick mode. In quick mode credit option is missing with these customers selected.
Before we proceed further let’s discuss the concept of Options.
- The MOP (mode of payment) in Tender Screen is controlled by the Transaction Option.
- The Transaction Option in turn is controlled by the Voucher Type.
- The Voucher Type is assigned to User so that each users gets there defined functions.
Now let’s see why Credit Sale MOP is not showing in quick mode.
- Login as Admin
- Go to User Master (Main M O U)
- Open the User Master of the user using the quick mode.
- Go to Sale = Field and Press Alt + Enter
- Voucher Type Setup Screen will POP up
- Press Alt + Enter on the Sale Field
- This will open up the Voucher Options in Modify mode
- Press Yes on Sales
- Press Enter on MOP
- If Credit Sale is not there then start typing Cre…. In the blank field and a list will open.
- Select Credit Sale from the Lis
- Save
Note: The credit sale MOP is only shown in the tender screen if the customer is allowed for credit sale and a general ledger account is assigned.
