To share a folder or file in Windows7 please use the following steps…
- Right Click on the folder
- Click on Properties
- Go to Sharing Tab
- Click on Advanced Sharing Button
- Check in Share This Folder check box
- Click on permissions button
- Check all the Boxes under Allow
- Click on Apply and then on OK button
- Again Click on Apply and then on OK button in Advanced Sharing window
- Now click on Share button
- Select Everyone from the list
- Click on Add Button
- In permission Level give Read/Write permission to everyone.
- Click on Share button
- Click on Done Button
- Click on close button
