It’s a little difficult to touch the buttons in my Touch POS system.

How can I increase the button size of the Subgroup or Submenu section in Touch POS order screen of RanceLab® FusionRetail™ 6?

Answer:

You can easily increase the size of the buttons of Subgroup or Submenu in the Touch POS order screen. Please follow the steps given below to accomplish the task.

Method1: Changing the row/column number (without affecting the “Area of screen”)

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master  Data Management > F&B > Sub Menu (M > F > N)
  2. Alt + L.
  3. Select Menu from the list.
  4. Go to Number of Rows.
  5. Enter Row Number greater than the previous one. (Enter 4 if it is 6 previously. Increase row numbers if you want the buttons to be small or do the reverse for opposite result)
  6. Go to Number of Columns.
  7. Enter Column Number smaller than the previous one.
  8. Save.
  9. It will create a new display matrix for the order taking screen with the newly entered row and column numbers. If you provide row and column numbers, larger than the previous ones numbers, button size will decrease and opposite if you do reverse.

Method2: Changing the Area of screen (without affecting the row/column numbers)

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master Data Management  > F&B > Menu Management (M > F > M)
  2. Alt + L.
  3. Go to “Area of Screen”
  4. Alt + L
  5. Select area from the list (provided in percentage) lower than the previous one. (The lower the “Area of the Screen”, the lower will be the product button sizes, in turn it increases the button size of the submenu/subgroup).
  6. Save.

Note: The Highest size for Row and Column is 6 & the lowest size of Row and Column is 3. Using this you can create display matrix of 9 buttons (minimum) to 36 buttons (Maximum).
