Requirement: I have restaurant and ice cream parlor. I want the service mode like take away or dine in the restaurant.
But in the ice cream POS it should NOT ask for service mode.
Solution:
- Create a NEW voucher type called Sale (Ice Cream) | Main M A V
- Enter Sale (Ice Cream) in the Voucher Name
- Select Sale as Voucher Type
- Create a new set of voucher options by pressing Ctrl + N on Transaction Option field.
- Name it Voucher Option Ice
- Go to Sale Option, Select Yes
- Set Ask for Service Mode = Yes
- Check other settings
- Save
- Come back to Voucher Option
- Save
- Come back to Voucher Name
- Select Voucher Option Ice
- If required create a spate print option in the same way.
- Save
At this point a new voucher type is ready. Now we have to tag this voucher type “Sale (Ice Cream)” in the user master. When this user logs in from any computer these settings works.
- Open User Master in modify mode.
- Set “Sale (Ice Cream)” in Sale under Voucher Type
- Login with this user to check the settings.
