How prepaid system can be used together in Scan POS and Touch POS?

Answer:

Suppose you are using customer privilege cards, in which customers will receive points on purchase, automatically generated by the Fusionretail6 software.

Now you can also use those cards as Prepaid Cards, in which customer can charge (fill) money in a prepaid manner and after purchase also receive points. Please use the following steps to implement that…

Step 1:

  1. Create a customer.(Please refer to the Link for more detail about customer creation)

Step 2:

  1. Go to Main Menu > Sales Management > Transaction > Sales Invoice (POS) (S> T> S)
  2. Alt + O (or use “-O opt Voucher” button)
  3. Set “Activate Prepaid System = Yes
  4. Select “Prepaid” in “Mode of Payment” field
  5. Save

Step 3:

  1. Go to Main Menu > Sale Management > Transaction > Prepaid (S> T> P)
  2. Charge (Fill) the customer card
  3. Save

Step 4: Transaction in Scan POS

  1. Go to Main Menu > Sales Management > Transaction > Sales Invoice (POS) (S> T> S)
  2. Type ‘+’ from the keyboard (or add the character you selected for customer Scan Start Sentinel in Global options) and scan the customer privilege card.
  3. Scan items
  4. Press F10
  5. Tender in “Prepaid” MOP
  6. Press F10

 Step 5: Transaction in Touch POS

  1. Go to Main Menu > Sale Management > Transaction > Sale Invoice (Touch POS) (S> T> T). (It will be in Quick mode with “Prepaid" as default MOP because you already set  “Activate Prepaid System = Yes” in step2. To use table mode with more MOPs set “Activate Prepaid System = No” in sales option as mentioned in step2.
  2. Swipe the customer card
  3. Select products
  4. Tender
