Restaurant setup without KOT Printer (Quick Mode)
Step1: Installing RanceLab® FusionRetail™ 6
Step2: Setting up the database
Step3: Creating a new database
Step4: Importing the menu master
Step5: Setting the Receipt printer (with DOS mode, printer connected in LPT1 port)
- Go to Main Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Station Setup (T> A> S)
- Alt + L
- Select the Station name from the list
- Go to Bill printer field
- Ctrl + N (to create a new printer master)
- Enter a device name (as Prntr1)
- Set 'Driver Type = DOS'
- Set 'No of Copies = 1'
- Go to Device Port
- Alt + L
- Select Port name from the list (as LPT1, where your printer is physically connected in the system)
- Set 'Standard Normal = 27,33,0,'
- Set 'Standard Bold = 27,33,10,'
- Set 'Centre Aligned = 27,97,1,'
- Set 'Left Aligned = 27,97,0,'
- Set 'Cut Command = 29,86,66,0,'
- Save
- Alt + L in Bill Printer field
- Select newly created printer from the list
- Save

- Go to Main Menu > Sales Management > Transaction > Sales Invoice (POS) (S>T>S)
- Alt + O
- Set “Select Type of printing = POS”
- Set “Auto Print after save (POS) = Ask”
- Set “Type of Operation = Quick Mode”
- Set “Print KOT = No”
- Set “Print KOT Local = No”
- Go to “Menu” field
- Press enter
- Enter “Effective Date” and “Effective Time” in respective columns
- Go to “Menu” column
- Alt + L
- Select menu name from the list
- Click on “Ok” button
- Save
Restaurant setup with one KOT Printer attached with node1 and with a table Layout:

Step7: Setting the KOT printer attached with node1
- Go to Main Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Station Setup (T> A> S)
- Alt + L
- Select the Station name from the list (as Node1, if the kot printer is physically attached with Node1 system).
- Go to “KOT Printer1” field.
- Ctrl + N (to create a new printer master)
- Enter a device name (as KOT1)
- Set 'Driver Type = DOS'
- Set 'No of Copies = 1'
- Go to Device Port
- Alt + L
- Select Port name from the list (as LPT1, where your printer is physically connected in the system)
- Set 'Standard Normal = 27,33,0,'
- Set 'Standard Bold = 27,33,10,'
- Set 'Centre Aligned = 27,97,1,'
- Set 'Left Aligned = 27,97,0,'
- Set 'Cut Command = 29,86,66,0,'
- Save
- In the “Station Modify” screen go to “KOT printer 1” field
- Alt + L
- Select the newly created KOT printer from the list
- Save.

Step9: Setting the options
- Go to Main Menu > Sales Management > Transaction > Sales Invoice (POS) (S>T>S)
- Alt + O
- Set “Select Type of printing = POS”
- Set “Auto Print after save (POS) = Ask”
- Set “Type of Operation = Table Mode”
- Set “Print KOT = Yes”
- Set “Print KOT Local = No”
- Go to “Table Section Name”
- Alt + L
- Select the table layout name from the list
- Go to “Menu” field
- Press enter
- Enter “Effective Date” and “Effective Time” in respective columns
- Go to “Menu” column
- Alt + L
- Select menu name from the list
- Click on “Ok” button
- Save
