Answer:
New option added in Location Export screen, "Export Dependencies". Turning this feature on will transfer product related details to branches during purchase/sales/transfer entry. For example,
Example 1:
- In HO, you created a product as ‘John Player Shirt F/S’
- In your, branch there is no detail about that product
- You created a purchase entry against that product
- You transferred that purchase to your branch, setting the option "Export Dependencies = yes".
- It will send the purchase detail to branch according with the product details (Masters)
Example 2:
- In HO, you created a product as ‘John Player Shirt H/S’
- You created a purchase entry against that product
- You have the details of the product in your branch, so there is no need to send the product detail to branch.
- You transferred that purchase to your branch, setting the option "Export Dependencies = no".
- It will send only the purchase detail to branch but not the product details.
Note:
- In HO, always set "Export Dependencies = yes"
- And in Branch, always set "Export Dependencies = no"
- It will make transfer process faster.
