How to utilize the GS1 (UPC / EAN) barcode at the time of receiving the goods?
Most of the people uses the GS1 (UPC / EAN) barcode at POS counters to ring the sales.
Now we have added a new feature in FusionRetail 6 which helps you to increase efficiency and reduce the errors at the time of receiving the inventory (purchase entry) .
Purchase Entry Productivity Tip
- Make a sample basket when receiving the goods.
- This basket will be used by the purchase operator for
- GS1 barcode verification (no more duplicity of product)
- If not found – new product creation (efficient cataloging)
- Open product creation screen with scanned barcode (easy operation)
- Check the MRP or expiry if required.
